Here's the story. The car on the left was an '89 325i 4-door automatic. That would be my first car. I loved that car to death. I used to work on it all the time because the previous owners never took care of it. Hell they got it at a dealer who got it from an auction at 90k miles. Just a couple of months ago the timing belt blew on my car. I really didn't know what to do with it so it's been sitting in my garage since. Just last week I was driving around with my dad and spotted a red '89 325i 4-door 5-speed for sale. [Eye Pop] I was all over it. Took me about a week to finally make the final decision to buy it and I'm glad I did. Although the car has a few problems I was able to take a lot of parts from my old car to my new one. So I'm still a BMW guy, guess I'm hooked for life. Can't really complain now can I :-D

He'll fix the belt from his old one. SOme super-glue should do the job.

Definately something I'm thinking about doing. I don't have the money for it right now. Maybe I could work up the funds doing taxi service and stripping the old one.
